About Us

We are Joe and Martha Walker, retired physician and retired school administrator, living in the beautiful mountainous region of East Tennessee. One of our retirement goals was to work with missions and be the hands and feet of Jesus. All paths seemed to lead us to Haiti, and we still feel the call to assist the dear people of this small island nation—a nation that seems to have an evil mantle hovering over it.  

Jesus taught us through the Apostle John—So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? …let us not merely say we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.   1 John 3:16-18
